Continental Equities, Inc. was founded in the city of Washington DC as a consulting enterprise in 1996. In 2004, it was registered as a United States limited liability company and only recently, its Nigerian affiliate was registered at the Corporate Affairs Commission as Continental Equities Ltd.
Continental Equities has become a diversified, multi-faceted international financial services and general consulting firm. Given the educational and professional backgrounds of its management staff, it is fast carving out a niche for itself with a strong entree of products and services in the financial services and securities industry.
Continental Equities is also building a good resume in the education and information/communications technology (ICT) sector. Good inroads are also being made in real estate development and management the thrust of the company’s services is’ anchored on Asset Management, Financial Services and general Consulting.

OUR STORY SO FAR…
Although Continental Equities has only recently been registered in Nigeria as an independent limited liability firm on its own right, it has, nonetheless, been a major long-term player in the Nigerian market. This, it was able to achieve through joint venture partnership arrangements with local Nigerian companies. It first started business as Continental Equities, Inc, a United States registered and Washington DC consulting firm. It was from this vantage position that is partnered with similar companies in Nigeria to execute a number of jobs in consulting and financial services, education and ICT for its U.S client who have business interests in Nigeria.
The partnership concept helped to add tremendous value to the services, of the Washington DC based firm. In addition to the accounting and auditing Continental Equities, Ltd is playing important roles in banking advisory services, property development, IT, education, communication, oil and gas, to mention but a few. Continental Equities, Inc in USA was able to make inroads into the Nigerian market through its long-standing symbiotic relationship with Emmanuel Nwanna & Company (Chartered Accountants and Consultants) with the registration of Continental Equities Ltd as a Nigerian firm, the two companies have fused and have become an item. The quest to add value to our customers informed the critical need for complimentary partnership.

CASIMIR I ANYANWU, PhD, CPA
For almost four decades, Professor Anyanwu has had various executive management positions in the private and public sectors and also in academia. His main area of professional expertise has cantered around Accounting, Banking and Finance. His most recent assignment was that of a Federal Commissioner at Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) where he served two, five-year terms for the constitutional maximum of ten years. He chaired a number of strategic Committees at RMAFC such as: Committee on Economic Diversification, High Cost of Governance, and Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) etc. Through his meritorious term at the Commission, Dr Anyanwu twice acted as Chairman of that Federal Agency.
Casimir spent many years in the banking sector at various capacities. Upon graduation with a PhD, he was hired by Bankers Trust Company of New York (Investment Bankers) where he rose to the position of Assistant Treasurer, Executive of the Middle East Africa Group and Country Manager Nigeria. He was, for four years, Managing Director of Progress Bank Nigeria Plc.
Anyanwu went into academia after Banking and for eight years, he was a Professor of Accounting at Howard University’s School of Business in Washington DC. Dr. Anyanwu holds a number of academic qualifications: B.Sc. (St Joseph’s, Calumet), M.Sc., (Accounting) MBA (University of Wisconsin), PhD (Accounting) University of Missouri, Columbia. Anyanwu has, to his credit, a number of articles in scholarly/Professional Journals. He is a member of many professional organisations such as: CPA, American Accounting Association (AAA), American Bankers Association (AMA), Fellow of Nigeria’s Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB) etc.

EMMANUEL C NWANNA
Mr Nwanna brings on board some thirty years of cognate experience in the general area of Accounting and Assurance in both the private and public sectors of the Nigerian economy. He worked for Finance Adjusters Ltd as Senior Consultant before joining Investments and Securities Tribunal where he spent about seventeen years in very senior management positions. He headed, as Director, Departments such as Finance, Budget Planning and Research, Human Resources Management, Zonal Coordinator etc.
Mr Nwanna is the Principal Partner of Emmanuel Nwanna & Company, a firm of chartered accountants. The company was incorporated in 2003. The firm offers services in the areas of Financial Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Taxes, Pension Management Models, Information Management Systems etc.
Emmanuel holds an HND in Accounting and Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Enugu State University. He is a member of so many professional organizations such as (Partial List): Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria ( ICAN ), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC)

Dr. Anukam is a Board-certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and a Clinical Pharmacist. She has worked in various healthcare institutions in the State of Oregon in the past twenty years. She volunteers in quarterly health fair/immunization clinics in various Oregon communities. Dr. Anukam is the founder and CEO of an NGO – Team Africa Mission International, a public health humanitarian organisation which carters for the health of the poor and downtrodden in the West African Sub region of Ghana and Nigeria. Team Africa has undertaken ten Medical Missions to the Region in the past decade.
Evon is not just a medical practitioner, she is also an academic. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Global Health. Dr. Anukam holds various academic and professional qualifications. She has an undergraduate degree in chemistry; PharmD from the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, Masters in Public Health (MPH), Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) specializing in Epidemiology and Global/ Community Health.

Dr. Michael Chukwudumike Akabogu is an accomplished and a proactive professional with broad Operations, Financial Reporting & Analysis, Budgeting, Revenue, Debt & Risk Management, Project and Initiatives Management. Currently, he is the General Manager, Risk Management, at the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund. After several years of working in the United States in the capacity of Business/Financial Analyst, Strategic Initiatives Analyst, Financial Planning and Portfolio Analysis, he returned to Nigeria where he has provided Technical Advisory as a Special Technical Adviser to various Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Director General, Debt Management Office Nigeria.
He was a Technical Resource Person on the Development and Production of the Horizontal Allocation Model Indices for the RMAFC. In 2016, he was appointed a Board member, Trust Fund Pension. Akabogu has developed various models for Fiscal Planning, Long-term Budgeting and Strategic Financial Initiative Management, with track record of streamlining and directing Financial Operations.
